Advising Information
Student advising is an important part of the collegiate education process. Academic advisors provide an integral part in shaping the student's education to meet the student's academic and career goals. Advisors serve a critical role in student success. Please review K-State's academic advising syllabus.
Each undergraduate student in the chemical engineering program is assigned an advisor. Students can find their assigned advisor in KSIS.
Advisors will —
- oversee degree requirements are satisfied systematically.
- assist students in the structuring of a program of study over eight to ten semesters that accomplishes their academic and career goals.
- assist in the selection of elective courses.
- provide career guidance.
